Pugs having Pugs is it worth it?

A pug can be a great pet for anyone that loves dogs. Pugs come in many different attitudes and on average about 4 colors. Black and fawn are the main colors when having a litter of puppies. A good litter would have 5 or maybe 6 puppies, half being male and the other half being female. This is the simple part of a puppy litter. If you love your pug as much as us, you may want to think about it before you let her get bread.

As you may know pugs are small pets with kind of large heads sometimes. This can lead to some problems when giving birth to a litter of puppies. It is best for the mother to have 4 or more puppies, because the more she has the smaller the puppies will be making it easier on the mother during labor.

It is common for a female to be in labor for 24 to 36 hours, with passable puppies. She will be in pain for half of this time, pushing , straining and crying. If she cant have them you will have to get a c-section or get them removed by a vet, this can cost up to $600.00 a litter. You also have to take the puppies to the vet two more times for check up and shots.  When you watch all this happen you may not want to do it any more to her.

If you done all this to your pet just to make some money, you may find out they are worth a lot more than people think sometimes. No matter what you get for your puppies it will not be enough, after you watch her give birth to those precious puppies, then you have to hope they all live. They are prong to having problems after they are born.

Pugs are great to have as a pet, so that means we must have puppies if we want pets. But, you may want to think twice before you go get your pet bread.

If you are going to buy a pug, it will be a great deal no matter what you pay for your pug, you will be getting the best pet that money can buy.

Pug’s Attitude

Pugs love People:

Humans are pugs best friend like a dog is a mans best friend. You will always find your pug either sitting with you or trying to sleep in your bed. They stay close to their human family and will follow you everywhere you go, they hate being left at home alone. If you like to be alone you might not need a pug, because they won’t let you.

Pugs are very Entertaining:

Pugs are fun to watch play. They do all kinds of crazy things to get your attention. If you have more than one they will play with each other for hours, plus they will get you involved in their playing. Pugs play good with other animals too. You will see pugs running and turning circles while playing.

Pugs are big Dogs in little Body’s:

Even though Pugs are quite small, they are very seldom nervous barkers. In fact, Pugs are fairly stabile and even-tempered dogs full of playfulness, charm and dignity. They are not afraid of other dogs or cats, they like being the boss, but they are not mean at nature.

Pugs are stubborn:

Pugs are usually very stubborn. If they want a treat or a certain toy, they will cry about it until they get it. It is as simple as that! Some might refer to Pugs as needy,  but a better description would probably be child like. They want what they want when they want it!

Snoring Pugs:

Pugs make noises while they sleep, because of their flat faces. Almost all Pugs snore and while some consider this to be kind of charming, others might find it annoying. To be completely honest, if you have trouble sleeping you might be better off buying some other breed.

Pugs Snort :

Pugs tend to snort a lot because of their flat face and button noses. This is all normal breathing for pugs. Some pugs have more problems than others with their breathing.

Pugs are not good for outside:

With the breathing problems that some pugs have and the way their nose is built pugs have a hard time living outside in humid areas. They are very vulnerable to both hot and cold weather. Most dogs have a long nose to help cool the air they breath in which helps cool their bodies. As a result they can easily over heat.

Pugs need special care:

Pugs do not really need much daily care, but with all the wrinkles a Pug’s face does need special attention. Pugs are very curious creatures and they tend to stick their tiny nose where it does not belong. As a result, dirt easily gets into the wrinkles, so cleaning them regularly is simply a must! The wrinkles also tend to attract and hold moisture, which can cause itching, irritation and sometimes even nasty infections. But don’t worry; it is easy to clean the wrinkles. Just take a soft tissue and clean them on a regular basis (some Pugs might need their wrinkles wiped daily).

Pugs can be Lazy or Explores:

Pugs are very curious dogs that love to explore things and go to new places. They are nosy and like to smell and taste virtually everything they have not seen before (so never leave toxic items out). On the other hand, they’re couch potatoes. They love taking long naps and sometimes it might even be hard to get them to leave that comfortable sofa for a stroll in the park.
